Should laws be stricter for teenage drivers?

I'm doing a persuasive essay on laws for teenage drivers and i don't know what side to be on, and i dont have any facts to back it up.Should laws be stricter for teenage drivers?
Yes, there should be stricter laws for teenage drivers!

Your state should have laws that forbid any legal teenage driver from having any non adult in his car when he is driving unless it is family!

Only after 2 years of driving should this restriction be lifted!

Too often teenagers show off when they have their buddies in the car with them, this showing off is often egged on by his friends! This is what leads to accidents on the road. Too often we hear or read about a car load of teenagers who are hurt or killed in auto accidents.

Some states already have this rule but it is not enforced enough!Should laws be stricter for teenage drivers?
Just because the driver has a friend in the car doesn't mean they're going to show off. I've only had my license since june and i've only been close to an accident because people pull out in front of me constantly(i've had 8 people try to pull out in front of me and one person who actually did and i had to slam on the breaks). I don't speed or do anything to jeopardize my safety or anyone elses. More laws aren't going to change anything. It's the actual drivers that need to change.
Why not go to your local police department and DMV and ask their opinions. Who better than those involved.
