How to become a teenage model in the UK?

I'm 13 and live in scotland, near glasgow


I'm 165 cm ( which is 5ft something) and thin


One of my friends is a model but she never wants to talk about it and she's quite quiet, because she's a bit embarrased, so I don't know what agency she's with.

Im sure in glasgow there will be plenty of agencies that you could go to. Many agencies have open castings that you could attend. However you have to make sure that they are real agencies to ensure that you are safe. Agencies like models 1 are safe. You should also take with you some photos both headshots and full body that you can take to a casting. Make sure the photos represent who you are but don't wear any makeup/ high heels etc just a basic strap top and jeans and similarly for the castings. Don't pay for expensive photos just get a friend to snap you.


Just enquire around. Also if you can't find an agency you could try asking around some clothes shops/ hairdressers to see if they want models and then you could move on from there. Also sugar magazine do a good yearly modelling competition with rimmel so you could perhaps take part in that.

mention to your friend that your interested in modelling


then ask her what agency shes with.


or ask her while your in the car with her and her mum


or round at her house.


her mums sure to tell you.





dont go with any agencies that want money!


make sure there ligitimate.


make sure you have an adult with you.


your mum dad etc


and be very careful.

Be very careful you are only young,Your friend may have been asked to do or done some shots she is embarrased about if you know what i mean. So go to a reputable agency,Take your mum along as well. Good luck hope you make it.
Your really young,enjoy being a kid before you rush into modelling.
