Should all teenage single mums be put on a desert island and left to rot?

They cost us millions to look after most of the time they only want babies for financial gain and the child will probably grow up to be a not so good member of society due to haveing no father figureShould all teenage single mums be put on a desert island and left to rot?
I was a teenage mum, I now have two grown up '; children '; one works in the oil industry, earning in excess of 拢40000 per year, the other works in child care in a managerial position and is studying a phd on a wage of 拢35000 per year. possibly putting more in the governments coffers than you !!! And yes I am very proud of them.

By the way sunny it's the boys who should wear the condom !!!!Should all teenage single mums be put on a desert island and left to rot?
Not all teenage mothers a getting pregnant for financial gain. There is a thing called contraception failing also some mothers have gotten pregnant due to rape. Also some people get pregnant through that 1 time of missing contraception. Im 19 and 23 weeks Im responsible and got pregnant trough failed contraception and was totally shocked scared and upset but now I am facing my responsabilities and dealing with it. And to be honest I love it and couldn't imagine not having my son kick in my belly.

And no you can not say at all how that child will grow up, its unfair.
No you can not say all teen age moms. rape victims who are brave enough to keep the child and raise them should not be in this category. and I feel the other 80% your referring to should have to go to parenting classes and learn to be better parents. A teen raising a baby is like a child raising a child and its hard so they need help yes and if they are doing the right thing and not just having an abortion they should be helped but with limits and boundaries we can not just excuse what they did but they baby shouldn't have to suffer either.

oh and by the way society should focus more on the dead beat dads who sleep with girls and leave the girl to raise the baby. If a teen age boy can have sex he should be responsible for happens. instead of focusing on the teen age mom lets focus on the dad who takes off and doesn't help. the mom is doing the responsible thing what about the men?

it is easy to point the finger at the woman who got pregnant but ti takes two to tango and these dead beet dads need to be apart of the babies life. because lets face it guys think about sex every 4 seconds and females only every 8.5 so chances are after he knocks up one chick he is already thinking about what chick he can sleep with next and this is ok with society because we only focus on what the female did even though she is the one doing the right thing and taking care of the baby.
Financial gain? I agree that there's a serious issue with families falling into the perpetual welfare cycle for nothing other than their own lack of motivation, however if you notice, not of them are living big.

The absurd part of your question isn't the question, but what it lacks. What about the lowlife fathers that bail? You do know it takes two to tango, right.
Seriously, financial gain? Are you joking, i'm not on benefits, im 16 and am raising my daughter who is 8months perfectly well, she has a loving and caring father who sees her everyday, and strong stable parents in a great relationship, i believe i'm just as good a mum as someone who is 26 and i know i'm a better parent then you'll ever be
Are you actually serious??? what the hell! people dont have children for 'financial gain' and just because someone has a kid at a young age doesnt mean they will be bad parents and loads of kids grow up without a father figure to be good people and vital members of society. Are you still living in the 40s or something when it was considered taboo to have children before marriage? Besides, it takes two people to make a kid and im not a feminist or something...but surely its partly guys fault as well!? Ah well, ignorance is bliss eh?
F*ck you. I was a teenage single parent and I worked my butt off to support my boys - after my partner cheated when I was pregnant. I was right to tell him to do one, and I'd be right to punch you in the face.

My children don't need a father figure like that - or an ignorant one like you.
Well mate your a bloke and blokes are generally the reason mothers become single! because the blokes leave you twat!

They do cost alot but so do all the immigrants, people with out jobs, old people claiming state pension, and just about every other person that doesnt work a 50 hour week!

Shall we put them all on a deserted island??

O hang on we tried it with convicts its called Australia now!
Well, in a way, YES, to your question. Getting pregnant is not like getting sick, where you don't know what you ate and got sick. These girls before opening their legs to guys should also know how to have safe sex. A teenage single mother is a bane on the society.
Not all, but I am getting pretty sick of them too. It doesn't seem right that society should have to pay for their stupidity. In my state I was shocked to find that medicaid pay for 40+% of child births. It's all part of the lack of emphasis on personal responsibility in our society.
I do think there is currently an over load of teenage pregnancy's but i don't believe its for financial gain.. i mean who dreams of being 16 in a council flat with 2 babies but if it happens it happens, if people choose to keep the babies then its up to them :)
I'd prefer my tax's to be going to a teen mum with a child to support, than some stupid bum that can work but won't work because he doesn't want to.
Nah. I would support putting the teenage fathers somewhere.

All the best.
All ignorant people should be put on a island and left to rot.
you should be put theere to rot for asking such a question
pretty much yep
